ROBERT BERY
Robert Bery's most recent series, The Forest,
incorporates a painterly manipulation of photographic images on wood.
In this work, the artist uses oil paint and silver emulsion almost
as a skin that integrates the natural texture and grain of the wood.
The series is a collection of spiritually charged and environmentally
inspired images which promote the notion that life is a source of
boundless passion, energy, and creativity.
Mr. Bery's works are included in such notable
collections as that of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Clinton and the Polaroid
Company, and have provenance at the Smithsonian Institute. He has
currently embarked on an innovative fine art project with the Walt
Disney Company, which will involve the introduction and distribution
of limited edition seriograghs and a publishing opportunity through
Disney's Art Classics division.
