MORGAN CRAIG
Like the French author Marcel Proust, I too am in
search of lost time. From the taste of a Madeleine, to
the redolence of congealed air, trapped within a
factory's walls, the impetus for memory is everywhere.
My distortions/alterations to the interiors of these
portentous monoliths reflects how memory, an amalgam
of fact and fiction, becomes time regained. A mere
tatterdemalion at the threshold of the past,
apparitions,tangible and intangible, circumvent me,
whispering: "catch us if you can."
Morgan Craig
